Two WEEKS?????

I just spoke with the nurse at my clinic… I had called yesterday because I’m fairly certain I’ve ovulated a good number of eggs.
And wanted to know how long J and I needed to wait before we can start enjoying our bedroom activities again.
She told me two weeks. Because I could be ovulating until I get AF. There’s no way to be sure.
Two freaking weeks.
*sigh*
Have I mentioned recently just how much this whole cancelled-cycle thing sucks?

yeah, two weeks off would go by totally unnoticed in our bedroom, good for you guys! sorry it’s not ideal though, i’m sure you could use some cuddle time right now.

Ya know, I’m inclined to think you’re gunna get pretty safe towards the end of that. Late implanters hardly ever make it, anyway (sardonic smile because this is based on extensive, obsessive and above all recent trawling through the pubmed archives).
But you might want to be safe, not sorry. What about barrier methods? Surely on top of everything else that would make things safe enough.
