First of all - I am happy to see you back but sad the cycle didn't work. I still have 9 embies on ice and like you, I'm just not sure what to do with them. I think the reason I leave them there is perhaps deep down, I'm still not ready to actually close the door on the possibility of adding to our family?? That said, I also have no intention of EVER cycling again and I really am happy with our little trio just as it is.

The accidents were something we struggled with a LOT. MG still has issues and when she tells us she's gotta go, she means NOW! It's tricky when we are skiing and we've learned that unless we're on the lift, we make her drop trou right there and then. No sense peeing in a snow suit!!

Now the good stuff - Yes yes yes!!!! St John is THE most beautiful place! We were there in Feb last year and fell in love. We can hardly wait to go back & take MG with us! We are doing Maui in the spring of 2012 but still, I can't forget the fabulous beaches. Oh, I also discovered a good way to do a trip there is rent a catamaran. That way, you sleep on board the boat and you can hit whatever islands you want. You can shop for local foods and come/go at your own pace. Seriously, I've looked into it and the cost (with another couple) is pretty close to that of the cruise, even when we factored in the cost of airfare to St Thomas. And don't forget, we're coming from the West Coast so a LONG haul.

I really want to pick your brain on the whole kid/cruise thing. We've been toying with doing a short repo cruise from maybe LA to Vancouver just to see how MG likes it. DH thinks she'll be bored but really, they have kids clubs and stuff like that so how bored can she be?
