Good news.
February 3, 2008 at 8:34 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 8 CommentsI’ve updated Mary Ellen’s blog.
I am so relieved to hear that physically she’s going to be ok… and that she’s recovering.
It’s a step in the right direction, at least.

I have no words and no understanding of why terrible things happen to people like Mary Ellen. It is difficult to deal with just hearing about it. It must be impossible to deal with as a friend and my mind explodes imagining what it must be like for Mary Ellen. I can’t think about it without crying.
Please know that you and Mary Ellen’s family are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I knew what to say.

Thanks so much for updating us all. I’m so relieved that ME is doing better.
There are many of us who’d like to help in some way. Please let us know how we can.

Hey-thank you so much for keeping everyone up to date. We have been printing off all the emails and comments and showing them to ME. They have really helped. Take care of yourself, my friend. You went through this with us. Let me know if you need to talk. Thanks – Steve

It is still so tragic, but reading that ME is getting better is a relief. Such a long mental recovery must follow… so sad.
Thanks for the update.

Hey – I don’t know if you are too busy for this… but I was signed up to go over and teach ME to knit and feed her dinner one night when she was on bedrest. Could I somehow meet up with you and give you some food from me to her? She is such a wonderful woman, and gave me great advice that got me to switch from my old crappy RE to a new one. I just want to help in any way I can.
