Moving On.

Negative hpt today.

I didn’t get the christmas present I wished for.

I had a fantastic week with my family on our cruise.

We spent last night and this morning with J’s family, including my niece and nephew.

And I am so, so, SO lucky to have my O.

We have a good, rich life.

It’s going to be okay.

  1. I am so, SO, so sorry that you didn’t get the Christmas present you’d hoped for. I know that you have an amazing family, but wanting to add to your family does not, in ANY way, take away from how much you love O.

I had so hoped for a holiday miracle for you. It *will* be okay, but it’s okay to mourn the loss of the dream, too.

  2. You are right. It IS going to be okay. In fact it is okay now. Give your son a huge hug and enjoy every little thing. As you well know, life can change on a dime and it’s too short to spend effort on the sad things. We can absolutely acknowledge them, and they will always be there, but we have to take what we do have and cherish it.

I hope 2012 is a wonderful year for you and your family.

  3. BIG HUGS…praying for peace and love in your heart.

  4. Hugs for you hon. I know you will be all right. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t mean that you are not happy with what you have. It just is.

Hope the next year is a year of healing, health and happiness.

  5. I wish for you that the answer had been different. Keeping you in my thoughts.

  6. This is not the result I was hoping for you.

Gratitude is a great and comforting thing.

Hoping for healing in moving on.

  7. Oh S, so sorry to hear this news. Squeeze J and O tight. Much love to all of you. xoxo

  8. I’m so sorry.

  9. Oh, Serenity. What a shit end. I was thinking how could the fates be so cruel to one person. Remember the lyrics, “Where is my John Wayne? Where is my prairie sod? Where is my happy ending? Where have all the cowboys gone?”, but I only hear the lyric “Where is my happy ending?” over and over as I ask on your behalf.
